I would like to highlight a case study from the
disaster preparedness initiatives in Kollam district of Kerala by Quilon Social
Service Society with whom I worked for three years soon after the Tsunami
Disaster. We have documented the outcomes of the Community Based Disaster
Preparedness Project in 2011 and the same is attached also. I am pointing out
the Disaster Induced Development happened in the Thanni Village in Kollam
District, Kerala State. It can be viewed
