Stories of risk reduction, life-saving systems and hope from UNDP - Sanny

Since that fateful day and over the past decade, UNDP has worked diligently to support governments and civil society across the region to be better prepared to deal with tsunamis, as well as other types of disasters.
To illustrate the work that has been done so far, we have launched a micro-site that highlights stories from several countries. You can check out the stories by clicking on this link, or through the BRH website.

The stories – that look at risk reduction, life-saving systems, and how protection and hope has been provided to some of the most vulnerable people in the world – are based on UNDP’s experiences and lessons learned.
